About the shop

The work is a mix that most places split up — jewelry at one bench, watches at another, phones and tablets somewhere else entirely. Here it is one counter. Partly that is convenience, one trip instead of three. Partly it is the nature of the work: a loupe, a steady hand and the right small tools serve a ring prong and a charge port about equally well.

Old-world craftsmanship gets said a great deal in this trade. What it means here is that a person looks at your piece, tells you what it needs, and then does the work — much of it while you wait at the counter, rather than sending it away for weeks.

We sell as well as repair. Watches, jewelry, phone and tablet accessories and gift items are in the cases at the front, and we handle phone activations and carrier bill payments at the counter too.
